Chris Ochoa is a guitarist, producer, and bandleader whose passion for tone and groove has defined a lifelong journey through blues, rock, and soul-infused music. He picked up his first guitar at age 9, improvising with borrowed instruments and makeshift creations until, at 13, he finally had his own. From that moment, his path was clear.

By his teens, Chris had earned a reputation as a fiery, expressive guitarist, blending the influence of Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix with a voice entirely his own. He commanded local stages with virtuosity, phrasing, and showmanship that set him apart as both a performer and a natural leader.

In 1998, Chris moved into production, releasing his first blues track and quickly gaining recognition for his arrangement skills. He founded Kmoore Records, an independent label producing multiple successful albums and singles, combining the authenticity of a live player with the precision of a modern producer — a signature balance that defines his work.

Over 35 years, Chris has evolved seamlessly between stage and studio, producing artists, fronting bands, and cultivating a sound that merges vintage guitar tones with contemporary energy.
